Central Air Systems
More about this category
A condenser and an air handler sold together as a matched pair, AHRI-certified as a combination and priced as one line. Buying the pair is the safe way to do this — manufacturers' warranty terms generally require a certified match.
Where a pairing is certified, its reference number is published on the listing with a link straight to AHRI's own record, so you can check the rating yourself before you order. Efficiency belongs to the pair, not the condenser: the same outdoor unit rates differently depending on the air handler beside it.
Send us two model numbers and we'll confirm whether they go together. We can't size a system for you — that takes a Manual J from someone who has seen the property.
Not sure which pair is right?
Send us the model numbers you're weighing up and we'll confirm whether they're a matched, AHRI-certified set — or tell you if a load calculation is what you need first. We'll give you a straight answer either way.
