Why the pair is what matters
A condenser has no SEER2 rating on its own. AHRI rates a specific outdoor unit against a specific indoor unit, and the same condenser can rate very differently depending on what it is matched to. That certified number is what goes on a permit and on a rebate application, and installing an uncertified combination can put the manufacturer's warranty at risk.
What we can and can't tell you
We can confirm a pairing and give you the reference number to look up yourself. We cannot tell you what size you need — that takes a Manual J load calculation from someone who has seen the property, and guessing it from square footage is how systems end up wrong. Talk to us if you are at that stage.
