Our promise on every order
- Typically ships in 3–7 business days — crated and moved by LTL freight from Fort Myers, FL. The carrier then schedules delivery with you.
- Manufacturer specifications, published — model number, capacity, efficiency and refrigerant are all listed below, so you can check this against what your contractor specified.
- Check your match in seconds — put in the two model numbers you were quoted and see whether that pair is AHRI-certified before you spend anything. Not sure, or not our equipment? Send them to us and we will look them up by hand.
- 30 days to return unopened equipment — full returns policy.
About this unit
Heats and cools, with a ten-year warranty behind it
One outdoor unit for both seasons, and no furnace, gas line or flue anywhere in the system. The warranty is what makes this worth considering against a better-known badge: ten years on compressor and parts, five on the coil, with registration. A heat pump runs far more hours a year than an air conditioner does, so warranty length matters more here than it does on a cooling-only unit. Register it at commissioning — there is a deadline, and our warranty page sets out the terms.
Know the heating floor before you buy
Rated for heating down to 17°F ambient, and cooling from 61°F to 118°F. In Florida and the Gulf South, 17°F is below anything you will see in a normal winter, and the air handler's electric strip heat covers the rare night that approaches it. Further north it is a real constraint, and you would want a cold-climate heat pump instead. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a unit that underperforms every January.
An LG scroll compressor
Single-stage, from a manufacturer whose compressors appear throughout the industry. On a heat pump the compressor and reversing valve work year round, so this is not a detail to skim — it is the main reason this unit is a different proposition from the cheapest condenser available online.
GoldFin coated copper coil
All-copper with a corrosion-resistant coating. Copper transfers heat well and, importantly, can be repaired in place with a torch by any technician, where an aluminium coil leak usually means coil replacement. The coating is what protects it from salt air and sustained humidity. Top-discharge cabinet, around 65 dB.
The heat kit decision that has to be made now
Supplemental heat lives in the air handler, not out here, and on Everwell the handler choice constrains it: the AHC standard-return handler takes strip heat up to 20 kW, while the FAHC front-return handler stops at 10 kW. If your house needs 15 or 20 kW of backup heat, you must choose the AHC handler — the front-return cabinet cannot be upgraded to it later. Decide the heat kit size before you pick the handler, not after.
Matching it correctly
Certified with the Everwell AHC and FAHC air handlers at 14.3 SEER2. The rating belongs to the pair, and we publish the AHRI certificate on every size of the complete systems so you can check the number yourself rather than take ours. Line runs to 148 feet with up to 66 feet of rise; 3/8 inch liquid and 3/4 inch gas to 3.5 ton, 7/8 inch at 4 and 5 ton.
Key features
- 14.3 SEER2 cooling + efficient heating
- Pre-charged with R-454B low-GWP refrigerant
- High-performance scroll compressor
- All-copper coil with GoldFin™ coating
- Top-discharge design, ~65 dB operation
- 10-yr compressor/parts, 5-yr coil warranty (with registration)
Everwell is where the price per BTU is lowest, and the range is built for the climates it sells into.
- Current-spec refrigerant. R-454B across the central range — not last-generation stock being cleared ahead of the phase-out.
- GoldFin coil coating. Built for high-humidity and salt-air environments where standard coil coatings fail early — the same problem the all-aluminum coils solve elsewhere in our catalogue, addressed a different way.
- AHRI certified and ETL listed. Everwell publishes a certificate for each matched pair, so you can check the rating of a condenser and air handler together before you spend anything.
- Condensers from $1,449. The lowest price per BTU on the outdoor side of the catalogue.

Shipping & returns
- $349 delivered to your door, liftgate included — $499 to AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA and WY. One flat price whatever it weighs, with nothing added at checkout.
- Must be installed by a licensed HVAC professional — opening refrigerant lines requires EPA certification.
- 30-day returns on unopened equipment, 20% restocking fee. No returns on installed units.
How buying direct works — the whole process, start to finish
You are buying the equipment from us and the labour from an installer you choose. Two numbers instead of one bundled quote — which is the point, but it does mean you are the one connecting them. Here is the whole sequence.
- Order the equipment. The price on this page is what you pay us. Nothing about installation is included in it, and nothing is added later.
- Line up your installer before it ships. This is the step people skip, and it is the one that causes trouble — equipment sitting in a garage while you ring round for someone free. You need a licensed HVAC professional; opening a refrigerant circuit requires EPA certification. Ask specifically what they charge to install customer-supplied equipment. How to find one.
- It ships crated on a freight truck. Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days. A complete system travels as two crates — condenser and air handler — which can arrive on different days. Delivery is to your address on a liftgate truck for one flat price, with nothing to choose at checkout. What delivery costs.
- The carrier calls to book a delivery window. That appointment is when your equipment arrives — not the ship date. Answer the call; an unanswered one is the most common cause of a delay.
- Inspect it before you sign. Two minutes at the tail of the truck decide whether a damage claim works. Note any damage on the delivery receipt specifically, not just "damaged", and photograph it before it comes off the truck. What to check.
- Your installer fits it, then register the warranty. Line set, disconnect, whip, thermostat and equipment pad are not included — your installer supplies those. Registering within 60 days of installation takes about four minutes and extends parts coverage from five years to ten. Warranty terms.
