"16 SEER2 Series" is a model name, not your rating

A condenser has no SEER2 rating of its own. AHRI certifies an outdoor unit against one specific indoor unit, and the rating belongs to that pair — so the number you actually get depends on what goes in the house alongside it. The same 5TTR6 certifies at 15.2 SEER2 with a 5TEM4, up to 17 SEER2 with a Hyperion 5TAM5, and up to 14.8 SEER2 with a 5TMM5 wall mount.

That is a 2.2-point spread on one box. If a quote says "17 SEER2" and does not name the indoor unit, it has not told you anything yet. Ask for both model numbers — or check the pairing yourself. We publish all 119 certified combinations in this catalogue with the reference number on every listing.

Order the equipment. The price on this page is what you pay us. Nothing about installation is included in it, and nothing is added later.
Line up your installer before it ships. This is the step people skip, and it is the one that causes trouble — equipment sitting in a garage while you ring round for someone free. It ships crated on a freight truck. Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days. A complete system travels as two crates — condenser and air handler — which can arrive on different days. Delivery is to your address on a liftgate truck for one flat price, with nothing to choose at checkout. What delivery costs.
The carrier calls to book a delivery window. That appointment is when your equipment arrives — not the ship date. Answer the call; an unanswered one is the most common cause of a delay.
