About this unit
Insulated copper line set with interconnecting control wire for ductless mini split systems. 3/8 in liquid and 5/8 in suction lines with flared connections.
Sized for 24,000 and 36,000 BTU single-zone systems.
Includes 4-conductor stranded interconnecting cable.
Your system ships with a 9.8 ft line set in the box. Order this only if your run is longer than that. Confirm the required line sizes against your unit's installation manual before ordering — sizes vary by model.

Why the line set matters
The line set is the pair of insulated copper lines carrying refrigerant between the outdoor and indoor units. Get it wrong and the equipment never performs, however good it is.
- Diameter is not a preference. Each system specifies a liquid and suction line size. Undersized suction line starves the compressor; oversized liquid line upsets the metering. The sizes are on the specifications panel of every condenser we sell.
- Reusing the old set is a false economy. Old R-410A line sets carry oil residue that is not compatible with the newer refrigerants, and a set that has been open to the air holds moisture. Flushing is possible; a new set is cleaner and cheaper than the callback.
- Length changes the charge. Equipment ships charged for a tested length — usually around ten to fifteen feet. Past that, your installer adds refrigerant per foot. Buy the length you need rather than coiling forty feet of surplus behind the unit.
- Insulation is not optional in a hot attic. Uninsulated or thinly insulated suction line sweats, drips onto ceilings, and costs capacity every foot of the run.

How buying the equipment yourself works — the whole process, start to finish
You are buying the equipment from us and the labour from an installer you choose. Two numbers instead of one bundled quote — which is the point, but it does mean you are the one connecting them. Here is the whole sequence.
- Order the equipment. The price on this page is what you pay us. Nothing about installation is included in it, and nothing is added later.
- Line up your installer before it ships. This is the step people skip, and it is the one that causes trouble — equipment sitting in a garage while you ring round for someone free. You need a licensed HVAC professional; opening a refrigerant circuit requires EPA certification. Ask specifically what they charge to install customer-supplied equipment. How to find one.
- It ships by UPS Ground. Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days. UPS delivers to your door for one flat rate, with nothing to choose at checkout. What delivery costs.
- UPS brings it to your door. There is no delivery appointment to book, as there is for freight — it arrives like any other UPS parcel.
- Check it when it arrives. Look over the box before you open it, photograph any damage, and report it to us within 24 hours. Damage and returns.
- Your installer fits it. Warranty terms.
