About this unit
Field-installed electric strip heater with integrated circuit breaker for Everwell FAHC front-return air handlers. 208–230V, single phase, 60 Hz.
Important: these kits fit FAHC front-return air handlers only. Standard-return AHC air handlers use the WTM series instead. Confirm your air handler model and breaker sizing before ordering.
HVAC Supply Pro LLC is an independent retailer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer of Trane, RunTru or Everwell; brand names are used only to identify the equipment we sell. All equipment is new, in its original factory packaging.

Key features
- Everwell WFM series strip heater with circuit breaker
- Fits the FAHC front-return air handler only
- 208-230V single phase, 5 to 10 kW
- No 15 kW or 20 kW option on this series — the AHC handler carries those
- Field-installed — confirm breaker and wire sizing before ordering
Why you need a heat kit
An air handler moves air. On its own it does not make heat — the heat kit is what does.
- On a heat pump, it covers the gap. A heat pump's capacity falls as the outdoor temperature drops, and it stops producing heat entirely during a defrost cycle. The strips carry the house through both. In Florida that is a handful of hours a year; further north it is a great deal more.
- On an air-conditioner system, it is the only heat there is. Pair a straight AC condenser with an air handler and nothing in that system heats. If there is no furnace in the house, the kit is not optional.
- It has to match the air handler. Output, breaker size and airflow all have to line up — an oversized kit trips breakers or overheats a blower that cannot move enough air across it. Check the sizing note on this listing before you order.
- Field-installed, not a rewire. Integrated circuit breaker, 24V control, and a single polarized plug into the air handler. A competent installer fits one in well under an hour.

How buying the equipment yourself works — the whole process, start to finish
You are buying the equipment from us and the labour from an installer you choose. Two numbers instead of one bundled quote — which is the point, but it does mean you are the one connecting them. Here is the whole sequence.
- Order the equipment. The price on this page is what you pay us. Nothing about installation is included in it, and nothing is added later.
- Line up your installer before it ships. This is the step people skip, and it is the one that causes trouble — equipment sitting in a garage while you ring round for someone free. You need a licensed HVAC professional; opening a refrigerant circuit requires EPA certification. Ask specifically what they charge to install customer-supplied equipment. How to find one.
- It ships by UPS Ground. Orders typically ship within 3–7 business days. UPS delivers to your door for one flat rate, with nothing to choose at checkout. What delivery costs.
- UPS brings it to your door. There is no delivery appointment to book, as there is for freight — it arrives like any other UPS parcel.
- Check it when it arrives. Look over the box before you open it, photograph any damage, and report it to us within 24 hours. Damage and returns.
- Your installer fits it. Warranty terms.
